It is time

I retired from 24 years of teaching school in June so I should have time to update my blog (I know, finally).  I kept thinking I would write a long tribute to my mother-in-law, who passed away two years ago.  She was a marvelous person and I miss her.  We had many adventures together and since becoming a grandmother myself, I realize her bond with my children even more.  The only way for me to catch up is to start now and I will try .  It is fall again just like my last post.  And like every fall it feels like a new beginning.  That school teacher calendar in my head will keep on going despite retirement.  Since the last post we've added two adorable grandsons, Alison and Andy's son, Ryan Bradford, born on July 21, 2012 and Steve and Wendy's son Chester Craig born on July 2, 3013.
