James didn't wake up for very much of his first Halloween.
Matthew started eating the leaves while posing as a spider on the lawn.
Since Halloween is just a few days before her birthday Alison has always liked the holiday. Matthew seemed to enjoy the sights and sounds of his first Halloween as he made the rounds.

How exciting that you have a blog! Matthew is getting so big. I saw pictures of your camping trip on Tammy's blog, but I really like the last one of you and Father Cal.
FYI - There is a great feature that allows you to see when a person updates their blog. If you go to customize your blog and then add a page element choose google reader (I think that is what it is called). It will allow you to see when your links have made updates and then you don't have to waste your time checking on them when nothing has changed. Can't wait to read more!

Great photos of the grandkids! Loved finding out about your family blogs in your Christmas letter. The NC photo was a good photo of everyone together.
