It's hard to know where to begin but the snow actually melted and spring has been warm. During spring break the best mother-in-law in the world came to visit us and we decided to head south. We spent a day in Charolotte, North Carolina and found another charming southern city. Then it was on to Atlanta and then to Jacksonville, Florida.
We learned some fascinating history in St. Augustine. The fort pictured here has been owned by Spain longer than the U.S.
The most important event of the spring was the arrival of Stephen and Wendy's daughter, Crystal Dawn Kelley. Being a grandmother again is such an incredible joy. Here she is at eight weeks.

Cindy I remember when we first took Diana and later Harley to Florida. We went when she was just 16 months old. For Motorcycle week and then Disney World. While there we went up and down the eastern seaboard learning the history of the towns. Something we loved doing. We stayed for a few days learning St Augustine's history. The best memory of both visits is feeding the birds at a restaurant on a pier. The tables had boxes in the middle that opened up to the base of the pier and you dropped bread crumbs through to all the gulls. Love your photos.
