It is time to update. It's not that I haven't done anything to write about. I have. I love looking at all the blogs out there in blogville but don't get around to updating mine. I'd like to take the time to post more often about the everyday things that I'll forget about if I don't write them down. We did take a trip with Cal's mom when she came for spring break. It was great fun and she's always been a terrific traveling companion. When I finish writing about that I'll post some of the everyday happenings. The first picture is of Lake Merriweather at Goshen Scout Camp. It is the mountains near Lexington, Virginia. All three of our sons spent many happy days there as scouts and Cal chaperoned for a couple of the weeks. Our friend, Tom Weiss, is a bear (it involves taking care of the camp, building whatever needs to be built and opening or closing the camp). He invited our family down for the weekend and we all enjoyed being in nature but staying in the cabins. Cal took the picture when he and a few others hiked to the top of the mountain.
