Singing with the Spirit

I just got back from a fireside where I listened to Peter and Sheena Joyce talk about their stint as mission president and (what do you call the wife of a mission president?) _____. Many members of the Washington Family Singers got together for a brief practice before hand. When President Windley announced a special musical number he invited the choir to the stand then said, "Tim Willis will accompany and Sheena Joyce will conduct." Then he handed her the music. As her husband later described it using British terms, "she was gobsmatted." Or at least it was something like that. She did look very surprised. Anyway she did conduct us singing Behold a Royal Army. We had so much fun singing it and remembering the good times we had singing together a few years ago.

Peter and Sheena had many wonderful experiences on their mission and it was a delight to hear them again. THANKS! Petra, I'm counting on you forwarding this to your parents.

sounds very cool! I was spoiled having him as a Stake President, no one can measure up to good ole "PJ" ...Also, somehow I missed your washington D.C. post..? but I get why people are getting so upset..Every single Man, woman and child in the U.S. is in debt $39,000 EACH...thats mind blowing..and the idea of spending MORE is crazy!

(I meant to say the amount that the U.S. GOVERNEMENT is in Debt is $39,000 for every man woman and child living in the U.S....(considering that WE are the government, my little family alone is in debt over 273000!)
